I’m a proud health literacy and plain language nerd who is passionate about making clear communications. While there are many barriers to health, I believe words should not be one.

My main focus is on understanding your audience and thinking from their perspective. I want to create content they will connect with, understand, and use. I use my degrees in psychology and public health to think from their perspective and understand what will motivate them.

I’m passionate about working with non-profit organizations focused on health equity and bringing dignity to everyone. I’ve worked with non-profits for most of my career, so I understand the environment, budgets, and importance of creating lasting change.

Outside work, I love exploring trails around Portland, OR, with my family or cozying up with a book and coffee at a local coffee shop.
